Respiratory Therapist - PRN

Job Summary Provides respiratory care by applying critical thinking skills acquired through education and experience as a Respiratory Therapist. A Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) demonstrates competence by passing exams administered by the National Board for Respiratory Care. The role involves delivering compassionate care that promotes health and healing, along with performing additional duties as assigned. Responsibilities Assess and develop patient care plans Implement and evaluate treatment strategies Administer prescribed medications Educate patients, families, and significant others about health management Participate in initiatives to enhance healthcare deliveryCommunicate and collaborate with the care team Provide clinical leadership and support lifelong learning Achieve assigned goals Qualifications & Skills Current state license and CRT credential Recent clinical respiratory care experience, preferably in hospital settings Successful completion of hospital and departmental orientation Basic computer skills in Windows and Microsoft Office BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ABG endorsement preferred Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP are desirable #J-18808-Ljbffr The VIOS Clinic
