Family Medicine Opportunity at MercyOne Forest City

Join MercyOne Forest City Family Medicine, a busy practice with instant volume, replacing a recently retired provider. You will join a team of five ARNPs and one physician in traditional outpatient family medicine. Call is 1:6 weeks, phone only, with minimal call. The practice offers lab, X-ray, EKG, behavioral services, and family counseling on site. Tenured RNs and experienced office staff are available to support you. Enjoy a $150,000 bonus package, a highly competitive compensation package with a 2-year income guarantee of $301,290 per year, full benefits package, paid malpractice and tail coverage, generous PTO, and $6,000 per year for CME. Up to $15,000 in moving allowance is also available. Specialist outreach, including ortho and podiatry, is provided. Telemedicine and teleradiology are available.

Practice within MercyOne Medical Group-North Iowa, a regional health system covering 14 counties, including MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, seven critical access hospitals, and 42 clinics in northern Iowa. Located 30 miles from MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center-Mason City, a 342-bed regional referral teaching hospital named Top 100 Hospital nationally, the network service area covers approximately 260,000 people.

Candidates must be board certified within three years of becoming eligible, pass an EOE/drug screen, and H1B candidates are accepted.

Qualifications: Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required. Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program; board certified or board eligible. Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges. Above average communication skills. Ability to work with a team. Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license; Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
