FORKLIFT OPERATOR Full Time Baltimore, MD, US About the Role As a Forklift Operator at Bond Distributing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. Your primary responsibility will be to operate various types of forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport products safely and accurately. Proven experience operating various types of forklifts and pallet jacks. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a wholesale trade or warehouse environment. Familiarity with inventory management systems. Basic knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations. Responsibilities Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and clamp trucks to move products within the warehouse. Load and unload shipments, ensuring that all items are handled safely and efficiently. Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and assist in order picking processes. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safety and compliance with operational standards. Collaborate with warehouse staff to maintain an organized and efficient workspace. Skills The required skills for this position, such as forklift operation and order picking, are essential for the daily tasks of moving and managing inventory. Proficiency in using RF scanners will enable you to accurately track products and streamline the order fulfillment process. Your ability to operate different types of forklifts, including stand-up models and clamp trucks, will enhance your versatility and efficiency in the warehouse.
