Job OpportunityJOB OVERVIEWProfession: Certified Registered Nurse AnesthetistSpecialty: CRNA - GeneralJob Type: Locum TenensLocation: Elko, NVService Setting: Outpatient, InpatientCoverage Type: Clinical + CallCoverage Period: Aug 24, 2026 – OngoingShift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 7am – 3pmOn-Call Shift Schedule: Weeknights: Mon – Fri, 3pm – 7am Weekends: Fri 3pm – Mon 7amCall Type: Beeper Call Ratio: 1-3Call Response Time: 30 minutesReason for Coverage: Extra VolumeTravel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: CoveredPATIENT INFORMATIONAverage Daily Volume: 4-5Case Mix: Cardiac, Complete Ortho, OB, Pediatric, RegionalFACILITY INFORMATIONEMR System: MEDHOSTPRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCEHospital Privileges Required: YesTemporary Privileges Available: YesREQUIRED PROCEDURESRequired General Anesthesia Spinal Anesthesia Epidural Anesthesia Regional Anesthesia Surgery Obstetrical Cases Pain management techniques (Post-op epidural, Post-op extremity blocks) Use of x-ray guidance in performance of blocks Ventilation management Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues Central Line placement Arterial Line placementJOB REQUIREMENTSLicenses: Licensed in NV or Universal License (IMLC)Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALSDuties & Responsibilities Provide general anesthesia for surgical cases in the operating room. Manage anesthesia care during on-call hours (3pm – 7am weekdays). Cover weekend call from Friday 3pm to Monday 7am. Assist in running three operating rooms simultaneously. Perform various anesthesia techniques including spinal, epidural, regional, and general anesthesia.
