Anesthesiology Physician

Job Responsibilities

Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department
Responsible for medical management of patients who are unconscious or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery
Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments
Obtain and verify patient consent
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitor patients' physiological conditions
Perform necessary clinical interventions

Qualifications

M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
ECFMG and FLEX certification
Completion of approved Residency in Anesthesia
Current physician licensure

Working Hours

10-hour shifts: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Weekend calls available

Skills

Expertise in patient management during anesthetic procedures
Proficiency in conducting pre-anesthesia assessments and obtaining consent
Ability to effectively monitor and respond to patients' physiological conditions during and after surgery
