About the Position

The unit has a total of 26 beds with a patient ratio of 6:1. The staffing includes a unit secretary, patient care technicians, and a navigator. Equipment in use consists of coolers, walkers, SCDs, and CPMs. The documentation system utilized is Meditech. Scheduling requires four weekend shifts per schedule. There is a floating policy in place. To meet patient experience requirements, a performance rate of 72% is expected. Advanced skills in knee and hip replacements, as well as multi-level spine surgeries, are needed. The dress code consists of navy scrubs. Policies and guidelines specific to the unit are provided to ensure adherence. Candidates should be aware of any awards or recognitions received by the department.
