Role Description The Fence Installer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lincoln Park, NJ. Day-to-day responsibilities include measuring and laying out fence lines, setting posts, installing various types of fencing (such as wood, vinyl, chain link, and ornamental), and ensuring proper alignment and stability. The installer will prepare job sites, operate hand and power tools, mix and pour concrete, and perform basic repairs and maintenance on existing fences. Additional tasks include loading and unloading materials, following safety procedures, communicating with team members and supervisors, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The role may also involve occasional interaction with clients on-site to clarify project details and ensure satisfaction. Qualifications Experience with basic carpentry, construction, or outdoor installation work, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials. Ability to safely operate hand and power tools, such as post-hole diggers, saws, drills, and concrete mixers. Strong physical stamina, including the ability to lift heavy materials, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and perform manual labor for extended periods. Knowledge of job-site safety practices and willingness to follow company safety policies and procedures. Reliable transportation to Lincoln Park, NJ, and ability to arrive on time and ready to work each day. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow plans, measurements, and installation standards accurately. Effective communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with supervisors, crew members, and clients. Previous experience in fence installation or related trades (landscaping, construction, property maintenance) is preferred but not required; training may be provided.
