Nurse Practitioner - Hospitalist Group-Nights 7 On/7 Off

Overview Providence Medical Center, located near I-435 and Parallel Pkwy. Kansas City, Kansas, is seeking an experienced advanced practice provider to join the hospitalist team as a night-time hospitalist practitioner. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working as an NP or PA hospitalist and be comfortable working autonomously without supervision, while collaborating under a practice agreement with supervising physicians. Responsibilities The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with patience, care, compassion and understanding. Tasks within scope of practice may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public health awareness, and prescribing medications.
