Join Our Dynamic Team as a Physical Therapist Job Description: - Are you passionate about helping others regain their mobility and improve their quality of life? - Join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals and make a real impact in the lives of patients! Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for inpatients and outpatients. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals. - Perform timely documentation, including Initial Patient Evaluations and Discharge Summaries. - Engage in patient care and family conferences to provide education and support. - Assist in supervising Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant student programs. - Support clinical operations, including patient scheduling and departmental activities. - Participate in Performance Improvement initiatives to enhance departmental effectiveness. - Build and maintain professional relationships with medical staff, physicians, and referral sources. - Stay updated on community resources to facilitate appropriate patient referrals. Requirements: - Bachelor’s, Master’s, or entry-level Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited institution. - Current New Mexico Physical Therapist Licensure. - BLS certification via AHA. - Familiarity with modalities and equipment as outlined by the Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners. - Strong commitment to providing age-specific and culturally competent patient care.
