Verify patient demographic details and obtain patient signatures post-venipuncture to confirm correct sample labeling.

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to specimen collection and processing.

Create a welcoming and professional environment that fosters trust and confidence with patients and staff.

Perform venipuncture and capillary collections with precision and care, adhering to safety and quality standards.

Operate efficiently in high-volume settings, managing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Support organizational policies on safety, confidentiality, and customer service.

Required Skills

Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary blood draws.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high accuracy and efficiency.

Excellent communication skills to explain procedures and foster trust with patients.

Proficient data entry and record-keeping capabilities.

Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

Phlebotomy certification preferred, especially in California, Nevada, and Washington.

1-3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Experience in a patient service center environment is preferred.

Flexible schedule with availability for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.

Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record if travel between locations is required.

Comfortable working in high-volume settings with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
