Job Description
Title: Occupational Therapist

Schedule: 8-hour shifts

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 14 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements:
- Current state license as an Occupational Therapist
- Proof of current CPR certification
- Current driver's license
- Reliable transportation and insurance
- Two years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical assessments and identify patient needs.
- Document and develop individualized patient care plans.
- Assess and facilitate direct therapeutic interventions to improve patient occupational performance.
- Evaluate and modify the use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate patient information to appropriate healthcare professionals.

Compliance / Notes:
- Must meet mandatory continuing education requirements.
- Promote compliance with fiscal intermediaries and other third-party payers.
- Adhere to infection control and universal precautions in all patient care activities.
