Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions according to each patient's plan of care
• Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately
• Support patient education and create home exercise programs
• Communicate patient status and updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Maintain safety, infection control, and compliance standards in all interactions

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active state PTA license (or the ability to obtain one)
• Ability to follow treatment plans and work collaboratively with the rehab team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for helping patients restore function and independence

Education

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and rehabilitation practices
• Patient education and home exercise program development
• Accurate documentation and medical record keeping
• Infection control and safety procedures
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
