As a Front Desk Security Officer at a utilities location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, maintain accurate logs, and support a professional, secure environment. You will serve as a visible point of contact, communicate clearly with employees and guests, and respond to security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a front desk location within a utilities environment. Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor credentials, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate entry and departure records in accordance with site-specific policies. Answer incoming calls, direct inquiries to appropriate personnel, and communicate site information in a professional and courteous manner. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures. Maintain awareness of front desk activity and report unusual activity, policy violations, and security‑related concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
