Physician Assistant - Hospitalist

Position Overview Are you an experienced advanced practice clinician looking to take the next step in your hospital medicine career? TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a seasoned physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our team as a hospitalist APC at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Dickson City, Pennsylvania. Location Lehigh Valley Hospital – Dickson City, Pennsylvania. Schedule Shift: 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. 7-on / 7-off cycle. Nightly average admissions census: 4 patients. Responsibilities Manage acute care patients independently in a fast-paced environment. Respond to rapid response codes. Cover floor calls, primarily on the medical-surgical floor. Provide inpatient care as an APC without procedural responsibilities. Qualifications Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. Prior hospital medicine or inpatient experience.
