The Float Physical Therapist will rotate between the following clinic locations: Kaseman Albuquerque Healthplex Albuquerque Southern Rio Rancho Las Estancias South Valley Physical therapist are movement experts who improve quality of life through hands‑on care, patient education and prescribed movement. Teams work with physical therapy assistants to treat people of all ages and abilities. This position within Presbyterian’s outpatient rehabilitation department gives clinicians the opportunity to treat a variety of patients and work with a group of therapists that have a range in specialties. Additional Job Duties Evaluates patients, develops plans and goals, and implements treatment programs for improvement of physical or developmental dysfunction and independence in activities of daily living. Continuously reassesses treatment plans and goals. Educates and instructs regarding home programs and preventive measures as appropriate to patient, family, and others. Prepares written documentation as required by the profession and the department in a timely manner. Communicates with patient, family, physician, and other healthcare providers regarding patient care. Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Participates in educational programs, in‑services and other meetings as required. Participates on special project teams and other related duties as assigned and requested. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred. N.M. License of Physical Therapy required. BLS required at time of hire. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
