Location & Work Hours Day Shift 630 am – 730 am start time flex Missouri Baptist Medical Center 36 hours per week 4–9 hour shifts Role Purpose Under the direction of an RN and/or physician, the Endoscopy Technician assists with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including transporting patients, disinfecting and processing equipment, preparing the procedure room, and assisting in patient care. Responsibilities Processes instruments and equipment, orders and keeps inventory of supplies, and maintains equipment. Maintains database for endoscopy and keeps accurate statistics pertinent to endoscopy. Transports patients and assists patients with changing. Trains staff in areas specific to endoscopy instrument processing, supplies, and the maintenance of equipment. Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED No experience required No supervisor experience required Preferred Requirements At least 2 years of experience in endoscopy or a related field.
