Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Duration: 15 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Travel Registered Nurse – RN Flex Pool Hilo ,Hawaii ⏳ Contract: 15 Weeks Specialty: Registered Nurse – Med/Surg / Step Down Shift: Days ⏰ Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM–7:15 PM Hours: 36 hours/week after orientation Position Overview Seeking experienced Travel Registered Nurses (RNs) for a Flex Pool assignment. The RN will float between various medical and surgical units while providing safe, comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities Provide nursing care across medical and surgical units. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Administer medications and treatments safely. Manage patients with varying acuity levels. Care for wounds, chest tubes, wound vacs, and other clinical needs. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Maintain accurate patient documentation. Adapt to floating between different units and patient populations. Requirements 3–10 years of RN experience Recent Med/Surg and/or Step Down experience Active Hawaii RN License by start date BLS and ACLS required PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and Procedural Sedation experience preferred Must be comfortable floating between medical, surgical, and cardiovascular units Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for required employee health appointment on Friday Additional Information No guarantee of hours No more than 3 days RTO requested for the 13-week period Clean, professional nursing scrubs required Floating is part of the assignment Holiday coverage may be required Interested?
