Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) specialty position located in North Charleston, SC. This role involves providing advanced critical care to patients requiring specialized cardiovascular and neuro ICU management. The assignment is scheduled to commence on 09/14/2026 and conclude on 12/14/2026, requiring a commitment of 36 hours per week across 12-hour night shifts.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications; 36 months RN experience, including at least one year in an ICU; prior successful travel nursing assignment preferably with Meditech experience; ability to care for 1-3 ICU patients on ventilators; proficient in telemetry reading; prior CVICU experience; advanced skills including CRRT and advanced hemodynamics; ability to perform phlebotomy; experience with neuro procedures such as EVDs, bolts, with familiarity with induced hypothermia and patient head/neck flap care.
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree, additional advanced certifications, TNCC certification.
• Additional Information: The role involves float requirements with travelers being the first to float to emergency departments or PCUs. Bedside shift report is standard, with a focus on patient safety and effective hand-off communication. The unit is equipped with mobile phones and computer workstations, utilizing Meditech documentation system. Training to develop skills in Neuro ICU or Cardiovascular ICU is available. The unit has a strong team with experienced staff, and incorporates new equipment and technology to enhance patient care.
