Shipping Coordinator

Shipping Coordinator Job Location:Petaluma, California Job Type: Temp to Hire Pay Rate:$22-$25/hour Schedule:Monday - Friday; 7am-3:30pm Description of Position:Do you have experience coordinating domestic and international shipments? Our client in Petaluma is seeking a detail oriented Shipping Coordinator to support daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and other fulfillment operations. This role is heavily focused on coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate records in the ERP system, communicating with carriers and internal reams, and ensuring orders are shipped accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will have previous shipping and logistics experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Job Responsibilities:Schedule and coordinate domestic, LTL, and international shipmentsCreate shipping documents including packing lists, bills of lading, and carrier labelsProcess incoming and outgoing shipments within the ERP system (NetSuite)Track shipments, shipment costs, and delivery statusCoordinate carrier pickups and communicate with freight carriers, vendors, and customersMonitor inventory levels and support purchasing and restocking activitiesAssist with palletizing, forklift operation, and loading shipments as needed Description of Company:Join our team at a well-established company based in Petaluma, California, specializing in providing industry-leading medical and simulation solutions for combat military personnel and first responders.
