Qualifications Previous professional caregiving experience is strongly preferred Current California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration preferred Candidates who are not currently registered must be eligible and willing to complete California HCA registration and Live Scan requirements before working with clients Current TB clearance, or ability to obtain it Reliable transportation Valid driver's license and appropriate automobile insurance when driving is required for an assignment Ability to assist safely with personal care and mobility-related tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation Strong communication skills Reliable attendance and punctuality Experience with senior care, dementia or memory care, personal care, mobility assistance, transfers, or in-home caregiving is especially valuable. CNA, Home Health Aide (HHA), CPR, and First Aid certifications are a plus but are not required. What We're Looking For Great caregivers understand that reliability matters just as much as compassion.
