General Laborer

The location is within a commutable distance of the **Oshkosh** and **Appleton** areasThe **General Laborer** is responsible for the clean-up and transportation of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste. **General Laborer** is expected to perform various tasks including but not limited to loading and unloading tanks and tankers with bulk liquids, complete inspection of equipment, hoses and connections as well as perform confined space entry.* Handling, packaging and transportation of both Hazardous and Non-Hazardous materials.* Use of hydro blast equipment, forklift, skid loader and specialty vacuum equipment and/or other equipment as needed.* Completion of critical path documentation; manifests, driver logs, job summary, permits, etc.* Communicate with Project Manager and on-site customers* Daily work in confined space entry, mechanics, industrial hygiene instrumentation, pneumatic tools, electrical tools hand tools and/or other tools as needed* Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.* Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.* Effectively work in a team setting.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.* Effectively work in a team setting.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to pass a respirator fit test.* Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including occasional overnight travel.* Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.* Ability to use sound judgment and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.* Ability to utilize Microsoft Outlook and NetSuite.* High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred* Minimum of 1 year experience, preferred.* Possess 40 HR HAZWOP certification.* Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb* Ability to lift/carry 50lbs* Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces* Ability to kneel, crawl, stoop, bend or twist for extended periods of time.* Qualify to wear a full-face respirator* Consistently work in various weather conditions* *Reworld offers GED Works – a fully funded program for employees to achieve their GED.** Health Care Benefits - start 1st day of employment* 401k - match up to 7%* Paid Time Off (Vacation & Holiday)* Paid Parental Leave* Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Benefits* Tuition Reimbursement* Employee Referral BonusReworld(TM), formerly known as Covanta, is a leader in sustainable waste solutions and is dedicated to transforming waste into valuable resources through innovative technologies.
