Job Details – Cath Lab Tech Travel Job

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 – $2,650 (competitive travel pay)
• Location: Waterbury, CT 06706 — Connecticut travel healthcare opportunity
• Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab / Cardiac Catheterization Lab (interventional cardiology)
• Contract Duration: 17 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 31, 2026)
• Shift: 8-hour days (07:00 AM – 03:30 PM)
• Employment Type: Travel, On-Site
• On-Call Rotation: Based on unit needs, including every third weekend and two weekdays

Required Qualifications – Cath Lab Technologist (RT(R) / RCIS)

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Cath Lab Technologist (Cath Lab Tech) in a cardiac cath environment
• Valid credential: RT(R) or RCIS required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Willingness and ability to participate in on-call rotation
• Compliance with onboarding requirements: health screenings, background checks, skills checklist, etc.

Responsibilities – Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist

• Assist interventional cardiologists and physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Operate and maintain specialized Cath Lab equipment (fluoroscopy, monitoring systems, hemodynamic equipment)
• Monitor patient status, assist with patient prep and positioning, and provide intra-procedural care
• Ensure accurate documentation of procedures, device usage, contrast administration, and patient records
• Support sterile technique and procedural safety; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotation and respond to emergent cases as required
