Forklift Operator

Location: Dothan, AL Pay: $16.00 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–2:00 PM (Hours may vary) Job Overview We are hiring a dependable Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse and distribution operations. In this role, you'll safely operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks while assisting with shipping, receiving, inventory, and material handling. Responsibilities Operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks. Move, stage, store, and organize materials throughout the warehouse. Wrap, secure, and stack pallets in designated storage locations. Pick, pull, and stage customer orders for shipment. Scan products using warehouse inventory systems. Support shipping, receiving, replenishment, and outbound operations. Rotate inventory using FIFO procedures. Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits. Complete daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Follow OSHA safety standards, warehouse procedures, and PPE requirements. Qualifications Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred. Experience with sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, or electric pallet jacks is a plus. Warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, or material handling experience preferred. Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic are required.
