General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS
Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements ARRT(R) ; ARRT(CT) -- 2 years of experience
How many scanners/rooms does this department have? CT - 2 scanner (Toshiba and Client)
Will areas will they cover? CT for Outpatients, Inpatients and ED.
CT- General CT studies to include ER and in-patient.
Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties
CT- general CTs performed-Stroke codes
Experience or 'Must have' skills
EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use EPIC
CT- (PACS) Mckesson
Department Specific Equipment (Client, Phillips, Siemens) - Currently Toshiba and Client
Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech - Gillian Brody Supervisor
Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) - CT- Yes
Shifts & Scheduling Friday, Saturday, Sunday 10:30a-11p with occasional call and holiday coverage
Weekend Requirement - YES
Holiday Requirement - Occasional
Call or Standby requirement? Response time? Occasional call - CT 45 minute response time.
Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided? Black pants and any colored SOLID scrub top
Department specific orientation Department Orientation is approx. 1-2 weeks depending on skill set and EPIC class. Will train on equipment
