Activity Assistant

The Phoenix Center for Rehab & Nursing is seeking an Activity Assistant for Full-Time to join our team. The ideal candidates must be devoted and compassionate about their chosen career. Activity Assistant will have experience working with individuals with dementia, have a highly enthusiastic personality, and be able to develop creative activities for our residents.

Responsibilities of Activity Assistant:

• Conducts and/or assists with assignments and assigned activity groups
• One-to-one activities utilizing interpersonal needs to meet resident/client needs
• Provides input and assistance with activity planning
• Escorts residents to and from activities
• Projects a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, co-workers, and the public

Qualifications of Activity Assistant:

• Experience is preferred
• High School Graduate or GED
