Compassionate Caregiver OpportunityWe are looking for a compassionate caregiver to join our growing team! The right candidate has a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide many levels of support to our clients.We currently have 52 weekly hours available!Here are the current schedules available:Clients in San Francisco:20 hours: Monday - Friday 5:30 pm - 8:30 pmSaturdays 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm4 hours: Fridays 9:00 am - 1:00 pmClients in East Bay:8 hours - Male in Oakland: Wednesdays 9:30 am - 5:30 PM (DRIVING REQUIRED)20 hours - Female in Richmond: Monday - Friday 8:15 am - 12:15 pmBenefits:Ongoing bonus opportunities (ranging from $200 - $1,000)Tapcheck - on-demand access to your paycheckRetirement planHealth insurancePaid sick leaveCompetitive payPaid trainingReimbursement of certificationsResponsibilities:Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eatingRemind clients to take prescribed medicationHelp with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)Assist with personal care and hygienePlan and prepare mealsComplete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do soPerform housekeeping dutiesReport any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencyOffer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessaryQualifications:Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skillsAbility to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodationsValid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single dayValidated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive mannerAvailable to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekendsPrior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)Willingness to enforce health and safety standardsSupportive and compassionateHigh School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a CaregiverTake pride in providing high quality careHoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)We’re a family-owned franchise located in the heart of San Francisco.
