Get to Know Your Team: New Mexico Heart Institute has over 30 years of diagnostic, interventional, and preventive cardiovascular expertise. Our team of over 50 providers uses state-of-the-art technology, offering the latest treatment options for all types of heart and vascular conditions. Responsibilities Performs technical and patient care functions during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiovascular and Electrophysiology labs. Monitors and maintains equipment. May serve in the role of charge or lead. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. Qualifications Job Requirements: Associate's degree in either nursing or radiology, or a graduate of an allied health accredited program, including EMTs, Paramedics, or Respiratory Therapists. Basic computer knowledge. Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. ACLS; Radiologic Technologist Certificate (RT), EMT, Paramedic, or Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Preferred Job Requirements Radiology Tech or EMT-Paramedic. One (1) year of previous job-related experience. Clinical educational experience may be substituted for work experience. Advanced credentialing in cardiovascular and electrophysiology is strongly recommended. RCIS, RCES, RCVT, ARRT(RT(R)), CV, CI, or VI. #J-18808-Ljbffr Ardent Health
