Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/03/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel MS Tele Registered Nurse (RN) About the Position We are seeking a dedicated MS Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients on a medical-surgical telemetry unit. You will work 3x12 hour shifts, from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, with a patient ratio of 1:6. Unit Details Newly established unit with 18 beds, equipped with bedside monitoring for telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry. Charge responsibilities are shared between stepdown and the 3 West unit. There are no management staff scheduled off-shift, but leadership is accessible via phone and there is a house supervisor available 24/7. Mandatory weekend shifts every other weekend. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical telemetry setting, including telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation. Current SC nursing license or a Compact license must be obtained prior to start. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Experience in a community hospital is preferred. Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs. Additional Information This position accommodates local travelers within a 60-mile radius, with specific considerations for time off requests. Guaranteed hours with the facility allowed to call off one shift every two weeks. During hurricane season (June through November), all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams as needed. Ensure no new or extended assignments are confirmed during this period. No parking fees are applicable. Scrub color is Royal Blue. Charting is conducted via Epic.
