The Procurement Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of the supply chain procurement process to support our internal stakeholders and government customers.We are looking for professionals with experience with FAR/Government procurement and/or experience procuring in software, cloud/Saas, End User Device/IT Hardware, Server/Storage and Non-IT Hardware.Meaningful Work And Personal ImpactManage the procurement process for both indirect (internal GDIT customers) and direct (government customers) procurements.Sourcing execution in compliance with the various regulatory requirements imposed upon GDIT Supply Chain by its customers, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and leverage the market strength of GDIT, recognize market conditions, and strive to maximize value obtained from each procurement action.Management of RFQ/RFPs from drafting, bidder communication, negotiation, and executionCompletion of sourcing checklist (includes single/sole source justification, price analysis, individual screening requirements, etc.Ensures high internal customer satisfaction.Supports the implementation of process improvements and streamlined procedures whenever possibleWhat You'll Need To SucceedBachelor's Degree or 4+ years of procurement experience/education in lieu of a degree2+ years in government contracts and strategic procurementExperience with terms and conditions/pricing negotiationExperience in written/oral communications at all levels of the companyAbility to research, analyze, compile, and assess business and financial dataAbility to make sound decisions and recommendationsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented individual who works quickly and efficientlyAbility to manage multiple projects related to the purchasing processLocation: Resource must be willing to meet our hybrid schedule which requires employees to work from a GDIT Falls Church, VA or Herndon, VA office 3+ days per weekPerforms work on contracts that require U.S. citizenshipGdit Is Your PlaceAt GDIT, the mission is our purpose, and our people are at the center of everything we do. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
