Nurse Practitioner (Endocrinology) - El Centro, CA

Job Type: Full-Time, Mon - Fri (No weekends, nights, On-call)
Setting: Outpatient Facility

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner with direct Endocrinology experience to provide comprehensive outpatient care for patients with endocrine, metabolic, and hormonal conditions.

Key Responsibilities

·         Evaluate, diagnose, and manage endocrine and metabolic conditions.

·         Manage patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and other endocrine conditions.

·         Develop treatment plans and manage medications within the NP's scope of practice.

·         Order, review, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.

·         Manage diabetes using insulin therapy, CGM, insulin pumps, and other diabetes technologies.

·         Provide education on medications, nutrition, lifestyle, glucose monitoring, and chronic disease management.

·         Monitor patient progress, provide follow-up care, and adjust treatment plans as needed.

·         Collaborate with the supervising Internal Medicine physician and other healthcare providers.

Qualifications

·         Active California NP license and board certification.

·         Direct Endocrinology experience is required.

·         Strong hands-on experience managing diabetes and other endocrine disorders.

·         DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.

·         Strong clinical, communication, and patient-management skills.
