Join a growing, industry-leading aerospace manufacturer where your work makes an impact and your career can take off.Position Description:The CNC Machinist performs detailed machine setups, has G & M code knowledge, and is able to run parts with little to no supervision.Essential Responsibilities:Efficiently set up, maintain and operate vertical and horizontal multi-axis milling and turning machines to produce high quality precision aerospace components without supervision.Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machine.Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.Use manual inspection equipment as required, e.g. height stands, micrometers, indicators, dial bores, verniers, etc.Able to read and interpret operation sheets and blueprintsDevelop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisor, and other staffOther duties as directed by the supervisor including but not limited to cross training in other areas of the facility.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary CNC education preferred3-5 years of CNC machine operationOkuma control knowledge a plusG & M code fluencyStrong verbal communication and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and ability to deal with complexityCapable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitudeInterested in learning with, and from, engineering and programming team to improve operationsBenefits: Enjet offers a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees including paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, paid holidays, a 401K retirement plan, disability insurance, and more.As an EOE/AA employer, Enjet Aero will not discriminate in its employment practices due to an applicant's race, color, religious creed, national origin, ancestry, sex, age, veteran status, marital status or physical challenges.
