Respiratory Therapist (RT) - Registered Respiratory Therapist

NICU RN Neonates to Pediatrics

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
• NICU experience with high-risk deliveries and surfactant administration
• License: Georgia RN or Compact RN (required)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, RRT (as listed)
• Experience with Draeger and Servo I ventilators
• Skills in umbilical cord gas collection/interpretation and ABG interpretation
• Ventilator management and weaning, including noninvasive support (CPAP, BiPAP, HFNC)
• Tracheostomy care and pulmonary hygiene/suctioning experience
• Basic EKG and airway management skills

Compliance / Notes:

• Maximum 7 days of RTO per contract; all RTO must be finalized at submission; no RTO during orientation week
• Full compliance required to start on time; onboarding items/labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• All compliance documents due by Tuesday prior to start
• Orientation includes non-billable hours that vary based on contract length
• Every other weekend required unless specified otherwise
• Sign up for on-call option during volume variation
• If major holiday falls within assignment, expected to work according to schedule requirements
