Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep grounds pristine.
- Operate hand tools and power equipment such as trimmers, blowers, and lawnmowers safely and efficiently.
- Support planting activities by identifying plants, preparing soil, and installing new greenery or flowers.
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Maintain hardscape features like walkways, patios, and retaining walls by performing repairs or cleaning.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Perform snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and accessible.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge for operating landscaping machinery and troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Experience with landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, pruning, and gardening techniques.
- Familiarity with landscaping tools such as hand tools, power tools, and grounds maintenance equipment.
- Ability to identify various plants and understand basic horticulture principles.
- Knowledge of pesticide management practices for safe application when necessary.
- Hands-on experience with irrigation systems installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Strong outdoor work experience with a focus on grounds maintenance and safety compliance.
