Epic Applications Manager

Managing the IT Clinical Applications department, the full-time Epic Applications Manager will oversee hospital billing and health information management systems, ensuring adherence to budgets and project deadlines while providing technical guidance and evaluating staff performance in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Prepares and implements plans for application selection, systems development, and maintenance Analyzes and coordinates the procurement of new software and hardware systems Directs staff in modifying existing systems and developing project specifications Required qualifications BS or BA degree in computer science, business, or equivalent experience Minimum of two years' experience supervising application systems analysis and programming staff At least five years of directly applicable experience in an IT department Strong knowledge of the systems development life cycle and project management skills Ability to work in a matrix management environment and lead diverse teams
