Full-Time Overnight Supervisor in Somerville (Jeremiah)

Job Details Location: Somerville, MA Schedule: Sunday – Thursday 11:00 pm – 7:00 am Pay Rate: $21.73 per hour Shift Supervisor Position Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years security experience, be able to provide 5 years of previous work history (or explain gaps), provide 10 years of housing history, and complete additional drug screening. Security Supervisor Responsibilities Supervise a staff of security officers, ensuring they stay on task, are in full uniform, and provide excellent customer service. Patrol and monitor multiple premises to detect irregularities, including suspicious behavior or security breaches. Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity. Communicate with local law enforcement units and fire departments as necessary. Operate a mobile unit to monitor exterior premises. Conduct foot patrols of the premises. Write detailed reports on incidents that occurred on the premises daily. Maintain proper use, completion, and submission of all forms associated with patrol activities and duties. Respond to incidents regarding security and safety concerns. Conduct unarmed foot patrols (interior and/or exterior). Respond to requests for assistance and evaluate appropriate courses of action. Comply with all requirements and directives within the on‑site operations manual and post orders. Assume other duties as required by either client or Northeast Security, Inc. Previous customer service experience or related field/education. Neat and professional appearance. Dependable means of transportation. Knowledge of CCTV and access control systems is preferred. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English (both written and verbal). High school diploma or GED equivalent. Candidates must pass all pre‑employment background and drug screenings.
