Phlebotomist Specialist-Patient Service Center

Job Summary Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Columbus PSC in Columbus, GA. Work schedule: Part‑time, Monday‑Friday 6:00am‑10:00am, no lunch break, possibility to rotate evenings and Saturdays. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.

1. year or more experience as a phlebotomist.
2. years or more of clinical experience in a hospital or physician office/lab.

2 years or more customer service experience within healthcare. Preferred Qualifications 4 years or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
