Production Supervisor

Job Type: Full-Time Schedule Choose one of the following shifts (flexibility required): 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM OR 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Salary: $82,000 – $90,000 per year , based on experience. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while providing leadership, coaching, and support to production team members. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with manufacturing experience who is committed to continuous improvement, safety, quality, and employee development. Key Responsibilities Lead daily production operations while maintaining safety and product quality standards. Supervise, coach, and develop production team members. Ensure compliance with company policies, sanitation procedures, GMPs, and safety requirements. Coordinate equipment and facility cleaning processes. Resolve day-to-day operational issues to improve productivity and efficiency. Plan staffing and allocate resources to meet production goals. Manage employee scheduling and approve weekly payroll timekeeping. Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and corrective action when necessary. Monitor labor, supplies, and operational costs while identifying opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with Maintenance to coordinate cleaning schedules and production support. Build positive working relationships with labor representatives and cross-functional teams. Promote continuous improvement initiatives throughout the department. Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with internal teams. Minimum 3 years of manufacturing leadership experience required. Dairy or food manufacturing experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, Dairy Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Knowledge of OSHA regulations, GMPs, and food safety practices. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience with workforce scheduling and performance management. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to analyze data and drive continuous process improvements.
