As an AF Personal Trainer, you will have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to create and conduct safe and effective exercises for a wide variety of participants. The desired candidate must have a passion for helping people become the best versions of themselves by helping people make incremental lifestyle changes to obtain sustainable and long-term results.Our Most Successful Personal Trainers Are People Who:Great at giving guidance, education, and coaching to othersEncourage others to do their bestComfortable and confident with fitness program design and program instructionPromote and influence behavior changeDevelop relationships with all types of peopleKeeps clients and customers happy and engagedThings You Will Do As A Personal Trainer:Fitness Consultations1:1 TrainingSmall Group TrainingVirtual TrainingResponsibilities:Deliver pre-designed workouts to groups or individualsProgram and implement individualized workouts for membersEnergize and motivate members throughout the sessionsBuild fitness attendance and retain current membersEnsure the safety of participants in regard to heart rate and exercise techniqueProvide options and challenges for specific exercises to accommodate various skill levelsAttend weekly/monthly fitness staff meetings and required educational presentationsHandle member concerns when applicableSales and Marketing for ProgrammingProactive outreach to inactive membersAssist in retention effortsProvide exceptional member serviceQualifications:Have a strong knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanicsMust acquire a fitness certification/personal trainer certification within 90 days of hire from an AF fitness-approved education company such as ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA, ISSA, NSCA, etc.Ability to multi-task and stay organizedPositive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skillsDesire and capacity to train all fitness levelsManage time and schedulesCompensation: $1.00 - $30.00 per hourOur culture is defined by People, Purpose, Profits, Play®.
