About the Role:

As our RN DON Director of Nursing , you will be responsible for:

• Leading and managing a team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants to provide exceptional patient care

• Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

• Conducting assessments of patient care needs and developing individualized care plans to meet those needs

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes

• Fostering a positive and supportive work environment that promotes staff satisfaction and retention

• Monitoring and reporting on quality metrics and performance indicators to drive continuous improvement

• Serving as a resource and mentor to staff members, providing guidance and support as needed

RN DON Director of Nursing Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Pennsylvania

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Director of Nursing, in a long-term care setting

• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and mentoring nursing staff

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
