Body Shop Assistant / Business Development Representative (BDC)
Colonial Chevrolet – Acton, Massachusetts
Are you outgoing, organized, and passionate about working with people? Colonial Chevrolet in Acton is looking for a motivated Body Shop Assistant / Business Development Representative to join our team!
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer-service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Body Shop Responsibilities:
- Assist customers throughout their entire body shop repair experience
- Coordinate customer and vehicle logistics
- Process billing, insurance supplements, customer payments, and other paperwork
- Communicate with insurance companies to help move repairs toward completion
- Ensure all required documentation is completed so payment can be received
- Close and finalize all monthly repair orders
- Help market and promote the Colonial Chevrolet Body Shop
- Provide customers with professional, friendly, and timely service
Business Development Responsibilities:
- Contact sales and service customers to schedule appointments
- Call customers from recall, manifest, and equity-mining lists to generate business
- Follow up with prospective and existing customers
- Assist with additional duties assigned by the General Manager, Service Manager, Body Shop Manager, or Sales Managers
Position Details:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Hourly pay plus commissions and performance bonuses
