Radiology / Cardiology/CT Tech

Location: Easley, SC

Onsite Flexibility: Onsite

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $58.66 $62.66 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Saturday, Sunday, Monday nights only 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (3x12); no on-call required
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

This position covers x-ray and CT imaging for the ED and inpatients on a night shift schedule. Two techs are staffed on this shift to provide coverage across both modalities. Some transport is involved in getting patients to and from the ED. Radiologists are staffed off-site and available for questions during these hours. The facility uses Epic Radiant in radiology and also has Perfect Serve secure paging available to communicate with the radiologists. The facility is a primary stroke center.

• Perform x-ray and CT imaging for ED and inpatient populations on designated night shifts (Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
• Coordinate patient transport to and from the ED as needed
• Communicate with off-site radiologists using Perfect Serve secure paging
• Operate Epic Radiant radiology information system
• Float to other units or campuses as needed; floating is limited to areas where staff are qualified and have documented competencies

• Proficiency in Epic Radiant radiology system (minimum 1 year of Epic experience required)
• Ability to perform x-ray and CT imaging
• Familiarity with secure paging systems (Perfect Serve or equivalent)

• ARRT (R) Radiography certification required
• ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography certification required
• BLS certification required
• SC Radiology license required

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the field required
• First-time travelers will be reviewed based on experience

• Night shift only: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM (3x12 hours)
• No on-call required
• Some patient transport involved (to/from the ED)
• Scrub color: Hunter Green
• Floating required to other units or campuses as needed; limited to areas where staff are qualified and have documented competencies
• Flu vaccine required no exemptions
