We take this seriously. 100% of our managers have been promoted from within Commuter benefits for everyone English classes and additional benefits designed to support your life at work and beyond Paid training and clear expectations , so you feel confident and supported Food Preparation & Service Prepare and cook menu items according to INDAY recipes and standards Execute service line cooking quickly and accurately during peak hours Monitor food quality, freshness, and portioning throughout the shift Support prep work as needed to ensure smooth service Station Ownership Set up, stock, and break down your station each shift Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas Minimize waste and follow FIFO and proper storage procedures Food Safety & Compliance Follow all DOH, sanitation, and food safety guidelines Maintain proper temperatures, labeling, and rotation Communicate any equipment or safety issues to leadership immediately Teamwork Support other BOH team members as needed Communicate clearly during service to keep the line moving Participate in trainings and recipe calibrations Requirements 1+ year experience as a cook or line cook in a fast casual or high-volume restaurant preferred Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work 6–8 hour shifts Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays Food Safety or DOH certificate a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Alumni Ventures
