Job Summary As an Operations Controller, you will oversee accounting activities for one or more assigned accounts and assist the Regional Director of Finance with all financial aspects within the region. Responsibilities include managing cash handling, reconciling balance‑sheet accounts, analyzing financial results, maintaining monthly P/L statements, developing forecasts and budgets, reviewing ledger activity, resolving reconciliation issues, preparing financial reports, maintaining inventory controls, administering payroll and HR functions, and performing other duties and special projects as assigned. Key Responsibilities Oversee all cash handling procedures. Reconcile and analyze balance‑sheet accounts. Analyze financial results for internal and external use. Track and maintain monthly P/L and balance‑sheet activity. Develop forecasts and budgets, identifying risks and opportunities. Review general ledger and balance‑sheet activity. Resolve various accounting or reconciliation issues. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including monthly and fiscal close and audit reporting. Maintain inventory and cost control procedures. Administer payroll and human‑resources functions. Perform related duties and special projects as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of five years’ experience with revenue control, financial reporting, and cash handling responsibilities. Accounting experience in the foodservice or retail industry required; foodservice operations experience a plus. Ability to prepare monthly financial statements, key metric reports, budgets, forecasts, cash‑flow projections, and analyses. Adept at planning, organizing, and controlling complex processes and analyzing moderately complex financial information. Experience with POS, cash, and credit‑card reports. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Skilled at managing multiple priorities and relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a concentration in Excel. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced, dynamic work environment.
