Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Controller for a top municipal/government client. This leader will oversee all financial, accounting, and payroll functions while serving as a key strategic partner to executive leadership. The ideal candidate will drive financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, internal controls, and operational excellence across the organization. This individual will lead a team of accounting professionals, manage complex financial processes including month-end and year-end close activities, oversee preparation of critical financial reports such as the ACFR, and provide guidance on fiscal policy and regulatory requirements. • 4 Years of progressive management experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, GASB & IRS requirements and governmental financial reporting standards
• Experience with government finance, budgeting and fiscal operations
• Experience developing and implementing financial policies and procedures
