Build What Endures the Heat

Join a small business serving the thermal processing industry. You’ll transform metallic and ceramic-based materials into heating components and furnace system parts, while keeping product moving through the shop and out the door.

Your Impact

• Fabricate components using metalworking equipment and power tools.
• Verify dimensions and quality with precision measuring instruments.
• Own shipping/receiving: package product, prepare skids, move materials, and tender shipping paperwork.
• Operate a fork truck; use slings and lifting apparatuses to stage and move loads safely.
• Keep the shop orderly and equipment maintained through routine, low-level preventive and corrective tasks.
• Use practical shop math daily: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, conversions, geometry, and algebra.

What Helps You Succeed

• Auto mechanic, welding, or fabrication experience (preferred, not required).
• Comfort working around power-producing equipment and refractory materials.
• Willingness to work at customer facilities and in confined spaces with elevated temperatures while following safety procedures.

Physical Realities

• Up to 90% of your annual hours involve physical labor.
• Stand and move throughout the shop for eight hours with scheduled breaks.
• Lift 50 lbs as needed.

• Fork truck operation; slings and lifting gear
• Maintenance and repair fundamentals
• Shipping/receiving workflows and material handling
• Mechanical troubleshooting and automotive repair (including oil changes and service systems)
