Hours per week: 36
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts 6:30p-7:00a. No required overtime. Self-Scheduling.
Weekend/Holiday Requirement: E/O Friday/Saturday, E/O Holiday.
Hourly Rate: $30.82 - $46.24
Shift/Department Differential: up to $6 per hour + bonus shift incentives

Kirby Medical Center is growing and we’re looking for a compassionate registered nurse to join our 3rd shift team in the Emergency Department to work along side a team of experienced RNs and support staff. Our 8-bed Critical Access ED allows us the opportunity to provide dedicated care to our rural population. If you have a passion for critical care and the desire to provide more individualized care, at a hospital that cares about the safety of the patient and the employee by providing 24-hour security, then this could be the perfect fit! 

Job Responsibilities:

• Able to work well under high stress, high acuity and make quick decisions as part of a team to save lives 
• Rapidly triage patients, prioritize care, and deliver immediate interventions
• Safely administer medications and efficiently stabilize patients for ongoing treatment 
• Provide hands on patient care to patients of all ages 
• Work closely and communicate well with Emergency Department provider 
• Maintain accurate and continued documentation including patient histories, conditions, treatments and responses and assessment of changes 
• Track patient vitals, adjust treatment plans based on response 
• Participate as a member of the Campus Response Team 

Requirements:

• Current state of Illinois Registered Nurse Licensure in good standing 
• Current BLS Certification 
• Basic computer knowledge 
• Current ACLS and PALS certification or ability to achieve within 3 months of hire 
• 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
