A contract position is available for the 26/27 new school year, offering a chance to bring your enthusiasm and expertise to either a Resource Specialist Program (RSP) or a 4th/5th grade mild/moderate classroom. With a manageable caseload and supportive environment, you'll help foster meaningful academic growth and development in your students.

What we're looking for:

• Current and valid CTC certification in Mild/Moderate Special Education (must have this to be considered)
• Experience in a school-based Special Education setting or similar environment
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Flexibility to adapt to student needs and classroom dynamics
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

What you’ll be doing:

• Providing specially designed instruction and academic support tailored to individual student needs
• Implementing and developing IEPs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Consulting with general education teachers and staff to support student inclusion
• Communicating progress and strategies with families and stakeholders
• Maintaining accurate records and adhering to all compliance requirements
• Embracing a flexible approach to accommodate a diverse caseload (either RSP or 4th/5th mild/mod)
