Step into a precision-driven environment where accuracy and timing matter. As a CNC Production Machining Specialist, you’ll transform raw material into exacting parts that meet tight specifications while keeping our operation running smoothly.

A Day on the Floor

You’ll begin by reviewing the schedule and engineering prints, setting up CNC equipment with the proper tools and workholding, and dialing in alignment and calibration. After a careful first-piece inspection against drawings and specs, you’ll run production, monitor performance, and make offsets or adjustments to maintain quality. Throughout the shift, you’ll log production data, complete routine machine care, and coordinate with teammates to refine processes. You’ll finish by verifying final part quality and leaving your work area organized and safe.

What You’ll Own

• Set up and operate CNC machines with precise alignment and calibration
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Monitor cycle performance; adjust tooling, offsets, and parameters to uphold quality
• Perform routine machine maintenance to ensure optimal uptime
• Inspect finished components for dimensional accuracy and specification compliance
• Record production information and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and boost efficiency
• Follow all safety procedures and sustain a clean, orderly work area

What Helps You Succeed

• High school diploma or equivalent; machining trade schooling or certification preferred
• Hands-on experience as a CNC operator (or closely related machining role)
• Fluency in reading technical documents and engineering prints
• Solid understanding of CNC machinery, tooling, and setups
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Sharp attention to detail paired with practical problem-solving skills
• Basic computer competency for data entry and CNC programming adjustments
• Flexibility to work varied hours and overtime when needed
