How you'll make an impact in this role
- Foster patient independence by providing compassionate assistance with daily living activities, ensuring every individual maintains their dignity and comfort.
- Champion patient safety by observing and reporting vital changes in physical or emotional status, serving as a critical link between the patient and the nursing leadership.
- Support clinical excellence by assisting with physician-ordered treatments under RN supervision, directly contributing to the patient's recovery and care plan.
- Create a healing environment by maintaining organized, serene patient spaces that promote wellness and reduce stress for both families and providers.
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work within a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous CNA experience in a hospital setting preferred.
