We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Estimator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys turning complex projects into winning bids. What You’ll DoBid Preparation & Analysis Review project plans, specifications, and bid requirements to develop accurate cost estimates. Solicit pricing from subcontractors and vendors while maintaining strong working relationships. Prepare subcontractor bid packages, distribute addenda, and ensure complete bid coverage. Enter and maintain estimating data in B2W (Bid2Win) software. Coordinate with the estimating team to ensure timely and competitive bid submissions. Project Evaluation Analyze project requirements and identify potential risks and opportunities. Prepare Requests for Information (RFIs) when clarification is needed. Evaluate subcontractor proposals for completeness, scope, and pricing. Review bid results and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Relationship Management Build and maintain relationships with engineers, owners, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers. Communicate with clients regarding bids and budgets. Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to construction. Project Turnover Participate in project handoff meetings. Review plans and pricing with project teams. Assist with job cost reviews and subcontractor pricing to ensure alignment with awarded contracts. What We’re Looking For Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. 3–5 years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction, earthwork, and underground utilities. Experience using B2W (Bid2Win) estimating software. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project. Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
